State Capitol Building, Jefferson City, Mo.
Antique postcard published circa 1905.
The muted colors in this view are partly due to the printing process used, and partly to the age of the postcard. The leafless trees allow an unusually clear view of the building.

Night View, Missouri State Capitol, Jefferson City, Missouri
Vintage linen postcard published circa 1930 for Corwin News Agency, Jefferson City, Mo. by Curteich-Chicago.
This view is likely made from the same daytime photograph as the postcard above. The building angles and the trees and shrubs all match. Night views were normally made by starting with daytime photographs and adding lighted windows, stars, a full moon, and in this case, an exterior light by the sidewalk.
